"Some comment that this is one of my best. The colors of the snow and water are cold -- you know a blue-purple cold that is gonna be here all day long, yet, the horse and rider still seem eager to get the task done. I like it, because the colorful part of the painting doesn't come from the center of the painting but actually from the surrounding area 'round about."
