"I have painted the Rio Grande Gorge between Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico, many times. It never appears the same as the sunlight moves over its depths. This particular painting was just past noon and I didn't have a name for it. My daughter, Jill (quite an artist herself) took one glance at the painting and quipped,It's Gorgeous.
