The original was huge - at least by my standards. It measured 56x70. I wore out the wheels on my chair moving from side to side. A rancher south of San Angelo commissioned this painting of his ranch the way it used to be. At one time the Comanches would camp by the large lake. Around 1910, the lake just vanished.
It was great fun...with one bold stroke of my brush, I found the lost lake.
